Carla Cerceau is a celebrated aerial artist, choreographer, and creative director with over a decade of experience captivating audiences through the power of movement, music, and flight. As the founder of Cerceau Noire Productions, Carla brings a signature blend of elegance, athleticism, and theatricality to every performance and production.

Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Carla has performed on some of the city's most iconic stages — from the Centennial Concert Hall to Club Regent Event Centre — and has headlined events like Boo at the Zoo and Untamed: A Cirque Spectacular with her all-women circus collective. 

 

Her specialties include aerial hoop (lyra), aerial silks, hand balancing, fire manipulation, partner acrobatics, and juggling — making her a true multidisciplinary artist.

Carla’s choreographic work is known for its cinematic quality and emotional depth, often weaving narrative, character, and circus spectacle into a seamless aerial experience. 

 

In 2017, she was awarded First Place and People’s Choice at the North American Pole Dance Championships (Lyra Division), a testament to both her technical excellence and creative originality.

 

Through Cerceau Noire Productions, she continues to produce and direct full-scale performances, tailor-made event entertainment, and immersive circus experiences that push boundaries and elevate the art of aerial storytelling.
